Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the time we become aware of a specific infringement. If we become aware of such infringements, we will remove the content immediately.
Liability for links
Our offer may contain links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. Therefore we cannot assume any warranty for this external content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking; unlawful content was not recognisable at that time.
Permanent monitoring of linked pages without concrete evidence of an infringement is not reasonable. If we become aware of infringements, we will remove such links immediately.
Copyright
Content and works on these pages created by the site operators are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright require the written consent of the respective author or creator.

Privacy policy
Information on the processing of personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
Note: This is an informative English summary. The legally binding version is the German text below / on file with the hosts.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for this website is:
Familie Ising · Torben Ising · Bahnhofstr. 10 · 91637 Wörnitz, Germany
Phone: +49 176 96218231 · Email: see contact details in the legal notice above.
2. General information
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We only process such data where necessary to provide this website, handle enquiries and bookings, or where required by law.
3. Provision of the website & server log data
When you access our pages, our hosting provider automatically processes technical access data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and version, referrer URL). This is technically required to operate the website securely and reliably.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and securing the website).
Retention: Log data at the host is kept only as long as usual and necessary for operation.
4. Visitor statistics
For internal analysis we record page views including, among other things, the page path, timestamp, IP address, browser identifier (user agent) and — where technically available — approximate geographic location (country/region/city). The total number of visits is shown as a counter in the footer without publicly identifying individuals. Individual visits are stored internally in an access log; older entries are deleted regularly when no longer needed.
Approximate location may be obtained via an external geo service (ip-api.com, operator in the USA) using the IP address; only data required for lookup is transmitted.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in usage statistics and abuse detection).
5. Cookies, local storage & consent
We use cookies and similar technologies:
- Language choice (cookie, approx. 1 year): stores your selected language. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Cookie preference (browser local storage): remembers whether you chose “Agree” or “Essential only”. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, for optional features, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
- Background music (cookie and session storage, only if you consent to optional features): stores mute/volume preference. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
You can reopen and change your choice at any time via “Cookies” in the footer. With “Essential only”, optional comfort features (e.g. background music) remain disabled; the site stays fully usable.
6. Contact
If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, message content) to handle your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
WhatsApp: If you use WhatsApp, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.’s privacy terms also apply. Communication is voluntary; you may always contact us by phone or email instead.
7. Online booking & contract performance
When you book via our website we process the data you enter (e.g. name, address, email, phone, stay dates, number of guests, special requests) and booking/payment-related information to perform the accommodation contract.
Payments may be processed by:
- SumUp (card payments etc.) — SumUp Payments, including SumUp Ltd., Ireland/UK
- PayPal — PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg
- Bank transfer in advance — bank details are provided after booking; processing via your bank.
After confirmed booking we may email stay information (e.g. confirmation, access details, registration form link). If an electronic lock system is used for check-in, access credentials are provided only for the booked period.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (statutory registration duties).
8. Guest registration (Meldeschein)
Where required by law, registration data for overnight guests may be collected (e.g. identity, nationality, arrival/departure). Processing fulfils registration law obligations.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR together with applicable German registration legislation.
9. Online cancellation form
Data submitted via the contract cancellation form (name, email, contract reference) is used solely to process your cancellation.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
10. External links & third-party services
Our site may link to external services (e.g. Booking.com rating, WhatsApp, payment providers). When you follow a link you leave our site; the respective operator is responsible for processing there. Availability calendars may read occupancy from external booking channels (e.g. Booking.com, Outlook calendar) to prevent double bookings — website visitors cannot view third parties’ personal data in the process.
11. Retention
Personal data is deleted when the purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations exist. Booking and tax-related records are kept as required by law (typically up to 10 years under commercial/tax rules). Visitor access logs are kept in limited volume and cleaned up regularly.
12. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), where applicable
- Object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)

Terms & conditions (GTC) & house rules
Familie Ising holiday accommodation · Bahnhofstraße 10, 91637 Wörnitz, Germany
This is an informative English summary. The legally binding version is the German text on file with the hosts and in any German-language contract documents.
1. Scope & contract
By completing a booking (in writing, by email or via a booking portal) the guest accepts these terms. The accommodation contract is formed when Familie Ising accepts the booking request. Automatically sent order emails are not yet acceptance.
2. Payment & cancellation
- Binding nature: Each booking becomes binding only after explicit confirmation by the host; automatically sent order/payment confirmations alone do not constitute acceptance.
- Cancellation & no-show: There is no free statutory right of cancellation for accommodation of this type as for distance selling. In case of cancellation or no-show, the rental price is not refunded.
- Payment: The full invoice amount (100 %) is due. We recommend travel cancellation insurance.
3. Security deposit
A security deposit of € 100.00 may be required against possible damage. It can be provided by card in advance or in cash or by card on arrival; refund after proper handover of the flat, at the latest 3 days after check-out.
4. Condition of the flat & liability
- Handover: The flat is handed over clean and free of defects. Defects must be reported to the host immediately (within 1 h of check-in). Later complaints cannot be accepted.
- Liability: The guest is fully liable for damage or missing inventory caused by the guest or accompanying persons.
5. House rules
- No smoking in the entire flat. Breaches may incur separate cleaning charges (e.g. ozone treatment).
- No parties or events.
- Quiet hours 22:00–06:00; please respect neighbours.
- Treat the flat and inventory carefully; do not move furniture or alter fittings.
- Waste separation as instructed.
- Check-out: leave the flat swept clean; dispose of rubbish in the bins provided; wash up or empty the dishwasher.
6. Cancellation policy & withdrawal
Statutory right of withdrawal
Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, you may withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving reasons. The period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
Exclusion of withdrawal
For online bookings of accommodation with fixed arrival and departure dates, no statutory right of withdrawal applies under Section 312g(2) no. 9 German Civil Code (leisure services for a specific date or period).
Electronic cancellation function (Section 356a BGB)
If a right of withdrawal applies in individual cases, or if you wish to send us a statement regarding your booking, we provide an electronic cancellation function. The link “Cancel contract” is permanently available in the footer of this website.
There you can enter your statement and submit it with “Confirm cancellation”. You will immediately receive a receipt confirmation by email with the date, time and content of your statement.
Alternatively you may send your statement in writing (e.g. by email or post) to the contact details in the legal notice. You do not need to give a reason.
Sample withdrawal form
Where a right of withdrawal applies, you may use the following sample — our online form at widerruf.php is equivalent.
7. Final provisions
If individual provisions are invalid, the remainder stays valid. Place of jurisdiction, where permitted by law, is the location of the holiday accommodation.
